Previewing Advanced Forms

Use the preview option to view a simulated version of the form as it will appear in the mComet application on the handset or device. The preview option helps you visualize the form workflow and functionality. You can access form fields, view expandable fields, and open repeatable sub-forms in the form preview simulator. Switch back and forth between the form preview and design mode to modify the form fields.

The form preview feature provides a simulated version of the form's appearance in the mComet application. The actual appearance may differ based on the handset in use.

1. To access the form preview, click the Preview/Design button. The form appears in preview mode.

2. Use the keyboard and mouse to complete form fields and access sub-forms.

· To move through the form and access form fields, press the up and down arrows on your keyboard. Or, use the scroll wheel on your mouse.

· To make a selection on the form, double-click on the desired field. Or, press the Enter key on your keyboard.

Sub-form screens are displayed as determined by the advanced form settings.

3. To return to the previous screen, right-click on the form. Or, press the Back key on your keyboard.

4. To exit preview mode and return to design mode, click the Preview/Design button.
